Polyphyllin G has been shown to have strong anticancer activities in a wide variety of human cancer cell lines, it also shows signiﬁcant anthelmintic activity against Dactylogyrus intermedius with EC50 values of 1.2 mg L(-1) and the acute toxicities (LC50) values of 2.9 mg L(-1).
